The US Airways® Premier World MasterCard® eliminated foreign transaction fees.

That’s interesting to me because the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® MasterCard® still has a foreign transaction fee of 3%.

The foreign transaction fee on any given card doesn’t matter to me because I just need one card that doesn’t have the fee, and I have several including the Citi ThankYou® Premier Card and Barclaycard Arrival PlusTM World Elite MasterCard®, which are the two cards I carry when I travel.

The main reasons to get the US Airways® Premier World MasterCard® are still the 50,000 mile sign up bonus after first purchase and the fact that the ability to get that bonus will go away in the next few months when the American Airlines/US Airways merger is complete.
