Hotels.com is offering a scratch-off sweepstakes, like an online version of a scratch-off lottery ticket you’d buy at a gas station. You can try once each day for four days, beginning today (Black Friday) through Cyber Monday.

You have a pretty big chance of getting a 7 to 9% discount off your hotels.com booking…

…and a few will even win 99% off, which translates to up to $1,000 off when you read the terms. According to the terms entries are limited to one person/email address, and the 7 to 9% off coupons “ must be redeemed on www.hotels.com by 11:59 p.m. MT on Monday, November 26, 2018 (the “Redemption Period”)”.

I gave it a go and won 7% off, but don’t see myself using it to book accommodation by Monday, so someone else is free to use my code if you like. I’ll check again Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and post any more discount codes I win in subsequent blog posts.

If you use a code, comment on the post once you do so others don’t waste their time. I didn’t login to hotels.com before playing their lottery, so I assume it won’t matter who uses this code (but no guarantees… you might as well try).

Let us know in the comments if you get lucky and win the $1,000 discount!
