In honor of today being one of the last days to get 50k bonus miles on the Lufthansa Premier Miles & More World MasterCard, for one lucky winner, I will book an award for up to two people with their Lufthansa miles!

I know a lot of us have 55k+ Lufthansa miles sitting in our Miles & More accounts from getting the Lufthansa Premier Miles & More World MasterCard during its current 50k mile sign up bonus for spending $5k in the first three months.

If you haven’t yet gotten the card, the 50k bonus mile offer’s stated expiration is nine days from now, December 15, 2013!

I’ve written some Anatomy of an Award posts to explain for everyone’s benefit the exact process of converting Lufthansa miles to dream trips:

For the winner I’ll do even more. I’ll personally give you the full MileValue Award Booking Service treatment for a booking with your Lufthansa miles. (If your trip is for more than two passengers or is several awards, I’ll give you a $250 discount on the price of the award booking.)

Entry is open to anyone with Lufthansa miles or who expects to have some in the next few months. Having The Lufthansa Premier Miles & More World MasterCard is not a requirement for entry. There are two ways to enter:

  1. Comment on this post with what trip you have in mind. Here are some great uses of Lufthansa miles if you’re unsure. (Are you one of the people who receive one free daily email every morning with all of the day’s posts? Click the post title in the email and comment on the blog instead of replying to the email.)
  2. Retweet this tweet:

You can enter both ways.

I’ll pick a winner early Monday morning, email the winner, and get started booking your dream trip.

If you don’t win, we’re still standing by at the Award Booking Service, ready to book your award with Lufthansa miles.

  1. I’d take my daughter to Paris. She’s been studying French for years and would love to test it in the wild.

  2. Would like to use my 55,624 miles for flight to Europe, probably Barcelona or Corsica. With a return from Zurich or Paris to WAS.

  3. Fiance and I have the miles but are having trouble figuring out a way home from Europe in June 2014. Several departure cities possible…would greatly appreciate your help!

  4. I would very much appreciate this. I’ve booked my husband and 17-year-old son going to London in June for the Goodwood Festival of Speed (amazing car show in Chichester, England) on Virgin using Delta miles. (Thanks for the tips, Scott!) Now I just need to get them back using Lufthansa miles but have had no luck with United flights so far. Love love love your site. Can’t tell you how many people you’ve helped.

  5. We are planning an Amsterdam-Paris adventure with travel through northern France and Belgium! We NEED those business class seats!

  6. Hi,
I have 56800 and 55040 Lufthansa miles. 100000 spg points, 500000 AMEX reward points. Would like to fly (2 tickets) business from NYC to NCE, stopover at BUD (either way) end of May 2014, for about 10-12 days.

  7. I would like to go from PHX to ATH around Labor day next year. I just got the Lufthansa CC last month so I should have the spend done by February to get the 50K bonus points.

  8. My brother wants to take his wife from Tulsa to Hawaii for their 20th wedding anniversary in April but he cannot afford it outright. If I win, I would give this gift to him! Thanks for the opportunity!

  9. my aspiration is to fly SQ A380 and this card is perfect for the fit and access to SQ awards. The desire route for me would be LAX-NRT-SIN-BKK oneway all for 67k in J which I did manufactured spend just for this flight.

  10. Thanks to you, I have 58K Lufthansa miles (and many more on other airlines — finding your blog earlier this year has opened up a whole new world to me!)

Thanks to my (new) husband, I have two stepdaughters. I’d like one or both of them to join us on our Europe trip next year. They’re in their early twenties and have never been out of the States.

  11. I would love to fly to HK and Thailand with my husband in February/March and would really like to work with you on using over 100k miles we have in the smartest manner. We would be joining our college friends for a reunion as everyone has ended up at different corners of the Globe. We would be leaving from Mumbai, India.

I also wanted to THANK YOU so much for this wonderful blog and the information on the Miles & More Master Card Credit Card offer. In addition to all the perks that come with the card, the balance transfer was very attractive for me (thankfully, my higher interest rates were on very small balances, and it’s great to be able to take advantage of the 0% balance transfer offer for 12 months in addition to the 20k extra miles).

  12. Planning trip for next November to Southeast Asia (Bangkok / Phuket). It would be great if the booking effort was free! Got the card with spouse in October on your recommendation and almost through minimum spend for both of us.

  13. I applied for Miles & More MC after reading your earlier post in summer. Would like to use these miles for a one way biz class from OGG or HNL to ORD in Jan 2014. Always wanted to learn surfing and hike the lush forests in Maui.

  14. My brain hurts every time I try to find a use for my 50k! Living in SAN makes it a challenge so I look out of LAX. Still, UGH! I so want to book something before my annual fee comes up. My wife refers to this card as “The dead fish”,We never use it.

  15. I would love to surprise my husband, for his 75th birthday, with a trip to Venice. We both consider it the most romantic city in the world.

  16. We’ve got the 50K miles each and are open as to where we go as long as it’s business class on Lufthansa! Europe in the fall of 2014? Hawaii winter 2015?

  17. Celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary next Nov. and would love to go to China – Beijing or Japan Tokyo. Hope we win.
    Thanks for the opportunity.

  18. My father was born in Poland and emigrated as a child. I have never been, and would love for my wife and I to go visit the country.

  19. We were scheduled to ski abroad this winter but my boyfriend shattered
his tibia/fibula (in Mexico of all places) last week so he’s out for the rest of the season….Hopefully he’ll be back for cycling season when we will tackle
the Pyrenean stages of the Tour de France in July….flying (biz class)
to Toulouse most likely. Thanks for the tip on the sign-up bonus.
