I just emailed two winners. If either doesn’t reply within 24 hours, I will pick a new winner.
Generous reader Eugene is donating four United Club passes that expire June 30, 2016–in three weeks–to two lucky winners (one pair to each winner.)
If you have a use for the passes between the 16th (to allow time for them to be mailed to you) and 30th of this month, comment on this post for a chance to win the passes. Include your real email address while commenting, so I can contact the winner. Your email address will not be displayed and will not be used for any other purpose.
United has lounges all over the world. The clubs are a pleasant place to relax in a comfortable chair, use free wifi, and enjoy free snack and drinks. Here are the amenities. One-time entry goes for $59, so this giveaway could be worth up to $118.
I’ll pick a winner by Friday to get those passes in the mail as soon as possible.
Even if you don’t win this giveaway, there are credit cards that offer free airport lounge access every time you travel like the Citi Prestige® Card, which offers free American Airlines and Priority Pass lounge access.
Just getting started in the world of points and miles? The Chase Sapphire Preferred is the best card for you to start with.
With a bonus of 60,000 points after $4,000 spend in the first 3 months, 5x points on travel booked through the Chase Travel℠ and 3x points on restaurants, streaming services, and online groceries (excluding Target, Walmart, and wholesale clubs), this card truly cannot be beat for getting started!

Scott, I could sure use these.
Thanks, John
Better late then the garbage can.
Don’t waste them !!!!!!!!!
My wife runs a nonprofit that puts Ugandan street children through college in Uganda and is taking a board member and long time supporter on her trip to Uganda to check in on the program. The board member is 70 and they have 13 hour flights ahead of them. Lounge comfort in either direction would be amazing. They leave on the 17th, so plenty of time!
I could use in Denver on my way to SDQ on June 24. Thanks!
My wife and I are taking her parents on 6/16 and they have never left the country. I have lounge access so my wife and I are good but the passes would be for her parents traveling with us. We have a 5 hour layover at IAH. They have never been in a lounge either. Thanks!
My UVA students would LOVE lounge access on their long way back from Africa at the end of June! A huge luxury for penniless students…thanks Scott!
If you didn’t win the passes, I have 2 more I can send you today. If you’re comfortable doing so, send your mailing address to: unitedpasses.kirax2@xoxy.net (I’m using a masking email since this is a public forum, but it will get to me). I will mail them today if you send your address soon enough, and hopefully they reach you in time for your trip! I am going to reply to a couple of people with this who I think might get the passes in time to use them, first person to email me their mailing address will get the passes. I’ll let you know either way. I’m in California, so depending on when your trip is, the passes could potentially reach you in time.
My daughter can use these on an upcoming trip ATL to SEA
I have an upcoming trip to Peru later this month! Thank you for the giveaway!! 🙂
coolio. fying ORD-SFO – would be awesome to lounge it
My wife and I are going to Punta Cana on the 29th through ORD! This would make a great surprise!
I have a bit of a layover in EWR next week. I’d be down to check out a lounge!
My girlfriend and I have a trip to Canada on the 18th, but I’m flying Delta. Could we still use these? If so, that would be wonderful especially since I’ll have to be working on my laptop!
Yes U can !! make sure U can use them…
Yes, as long as you are at an airport with a United Club.
I have a long layover in Houston during that time (flying United). They’d definitely be great. Thanks.
I can use the passes. Will be passing through LAX and SFO later this month.
Transcontinental flight with layovers June 23 – 27. Was pretty disappointed because after getting the Amex Platinum Card I was excited for all types of free lounge access but my itinerary for the flight doesn’t line up with availability for any lounges I have access to. Some united lounge access would be money! Definitely would make flying solo a little easier!
Definitely could use them at IAH. Seems like everyone has a layover there.
Went from 1K to no-K on United this year (ouch!), and flying to Tokyo later this month in Y- on United with a colleague. Could definitely put these passes to good use! Thanks Eugene and Scott!
Went from 1K to no-K on United this year (ouch!) and flying to Tokyo later this month with a colleague on United in Y-. I could definitely put these passes to good use on a 17+ hour journey. Thanks Eugene and Scott!
We have a flight on 6/23 on United/SAA (ATL-IAD-ACC) to attend my sister in laws wedding in Ghana. Being in a Delta hub and flying on United obviously entails a layover. I should get the club passes based alone on my ability to avoid Delta for 95% of my flights. lol!
Thanks for the opportunity Eugene and Scott! Heading out on a muti country tiki tour of Europe on 6/21 and crossing our fingers for some good luck on this one. Cheers!
United Club passes could come in handy for me in LAX where there are some improvements on the way.
I love free United Club Passes. Matches the my credit card.
Enjoy reading your articles. Would equally enjoy Lounge passes for our up coming long trip, HNL>ORD>BTV.
If you’re still having trouble finding a home for one of those passes, I’d be happy to provide one 🙂 I have a flight on United going through Haneda on June 23rd, so a club pass would be great!
