The Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Reserve Card offers two free weekend nights (Fri, Sat, Sun) at almost any Hilton worldwide after spending $2,500 in the first four months.
“Almost any Hilton” basically excludes only all inclusive properties and time shares. This is the full list of excluded properties:
You’ll note that the “Conrad Koh Samui Residences” is excluded. The Residences and the normal hotel are considered two separate entities.
According to the hotel’s website: “Positioned on a secluded hill on the southwest tip of the island, the Conrad Koh Samui comprises a collection of one-bedroom luxury villas as well as 2 and 3 bedroom luxury villas at its exclusive residential wing. Spread over 25 acres, this Koh Samui resort offers panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand’s stunning sunsets, outlying islands and the surrounding landscape of lush coconut plantations.”
So you can’t use your free night certificates at the 2- and 3-bedroom villas on The Residences wing. You CAN use your free night certificate for the 1-bedroom villas of the Conrad Koh Samui, which are going for $2,288 for a weekend in January.
Or you can use your two nights at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, which goes for $3,313 for a weekend in January.
I wouldn’t pay $3,300 to stay there, but it would be one of my top choices with the two free nights from the Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Reserve Card.
If you don’t want to go halfway around the world, you can use your two weekend nights at the Grand Wailea on Maui.
No need to spend $1,268 for a weekend in July with the two free nights from the Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Reserve Card.
If you definitely want an island getaway, you can also consider the Hilton Seychelles.
A weekend in January is going for $1,034 or two free weekend night certificates.
If you’re looking for a city stay instead, you can stay in a Suite in Times Square at the DoubleTree Suites.
A weekend in September is more than a $1,000 or just use your two free weekend nights.
Or if you fly Singapore Suites to Tokyo, taking advantage of wide open award space for two, you might want to stay at the Conrad Tokyo.
For a weekend this summer, the property is going for $755.
The Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Reserve Card offers two free weekend nights (Fri, Sat, Sun) at any of these properties worldwide as well as over 500 others. You can use two nights together on one stay or do two separate one-night stays. If you and a companion both get the Hilton Reserve, you can combine three certificates for a stay from Friday to Monday at one property and still have one certificate left.
If none of these hotels struck your fancy, check out this map of all Category 9 and 10 Hiltons (the two top tiers) made by super reader Dave.

I have a regular Hilton Citi card and they offered me an upgrade, but it only has 1 free night and requires $10,000 a year spend for ONE free night along with gold status. If I apply through your link will I get different results? Also, my computer says the link here is “untrusted” why would that be?
Yes, my link has the two free nights offer after $2,500. “Upgrading” routinely gets a worse sign up bonus than signing up for a new card.
As far as “untrusted,” I think whatever program is saying that is just making a mistake. The link takes you to the Citi website.

[…] Since it costs one free night certificate whether you stay at a Category 1 or a Category 10, you should endeavor to use them at the most expensive hotels, namely one of the 62 Category 9 and 10 Hilton properties. I have already covered a few of these top properties before. […]
