I like Southwest for many reasons, but I’ll sum up my opinion by saying in general they tend to put customers first more often than other US carriers. And they offer the best deal in domestic travel, the Companion Pass.

Why do you fly Southwest?

  1. Flying them on Wednesday I will have to use one of the (4) A-1-15 rebate passes I get . Missed my 24 hr window (B-59) but the SW Premier card ($149) is Good .
    Free is Always Good .

  2. I fly Southwest because they offer great customer service and the prices+promos are great. That’s a great combination I don’t find easily.

  3. I like Southwest for a number of reasons: they have always been an innovator and disruptor in the airline industry – no seat assignments, two free checked bags, one-way seat pricing, etc. I like that they don’t take themselves too seriously – loved the humorous announcements and safety lecture. They are more committed to the customer experience than just about any other US carrier.

  4. Starting my Southwest experience next month, never flown them before. But have a child moving to Dallas so they are a good option. Thanks for the giveaway!

  5. I could really use husband and I have been living on opposites sides of the country from since November. I’ve been flying SWE every 8 weeks to visit him because Southwest flies from Albany NY, right near me, to Phoenix where he’s working. I love SWA!

  6. Every year, I use my Southwest miles to send my good friend on a replenishment trip home to her family. She runs a program for kids under State Juvenile Supervision in Georgia, and pours her heart and soul into making their lives (and thus everyone’s) better. All the while, she is fighting Rheumatoid Arthritis and societal indifference. How great if my miles fascination could result in her benefit!

  7. I love SW as my family lives in MSP and I live in ATL and they have been a great airline to use! Their service is 2nd to none.
Recently SW discontinued the nonstop flights between us? What gives? Now besides the extra time it takes, it cost more points too!
I could sure use that gift card!
    Thanks for the offer ☺️

  8. I fly SW every year to visit with my college roommates in Virginia. They have a good, efficient system – and their staff is always pleasant.

  9. I love their customer service and free bags. We had the companion pass and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, they’ve stopped flying direct to many of my top destinations.

  10. I like Southwest for their convenient schedules, no-change fees, no charge baggage, and of course the Companion Pass. Southwest is also the best way for retirees on a fixed income to go visit grandchildren across the country!
