Today is the last day of the third week of five weeks of discounted travel packages sponsored by the US Travel Association and American Express called Daily Getaways. Every weekday at 1 PM ET, a discounted travel package or packages will go on sale and will usually sell out in a few minutes. I’m writing about all the awesome ones
Today’s deals are discounted Vegas packages (all prices quoted with automatic 10% discount for paying with an American Express):
- Mandalay Bay for 2 Nights for $1,530
- New York New York for 2 Nights for $472.50
- Excalibur for 4 Nights for $472.50
- HOTEL32 for 2 Nights for $1,035
- Mirage for 4 Nights for $1,777.50
All packages also include show tickets and dinner credits. Some packages include accommodation in a suite. Look closely at the terms of each deal to see the included extras.
Stays must take place by December 27, 2014 and there are black out dates for each package.
These packages are varied enough that I think they defy easy analysis. I’ll skip the analysis today and just give you the heads up that if you want a weekend getaway to Vegas with show tickets and fancy food, these are really big discounts on the retail price.
Each deal has only four to nine packages available, so I expect these to sell out right when they go on sale at 1 PM ET today.
