I have tried to use it twice. The first time, it couldn’t locate the correct product via the internet so I couldn’t get it set up. The second time, I used it for my cell phone purchase and received a small refund- maybe $15. When it located a lower price, I had to go online and fill out some paperwork and then I got a check in the mail from an insurance combany.
You can also have the refund made as a statement credit, right? Thanks for the data point.

I just used it for the first time this month. I bought a dress at Nordstrom. Three weeks later the price dropped. I filled out the information and citipricerewind found the lower price, but will keep looking for the full 60 days post purchase. This was a special occiasion dress and so far I’ve saved $60. Of note, I saw the lower price the day I submitted the price rewind, but the tracker didn’t pick up on the lower price for 8 days or so. My good experience will make me more likely to use my citi card for retail purchases.
Hopefully it goes down further. Thanks for the data point.

Used it successfully a few times. Pretty convenient if you can find the item ahead of time (or while in store) online for cheaper, and make the purchase in store then go home and submit the price rewind. You win by getting the product sooner by not having to wait for shipping, and saving on the shipping cost as well.

Bought an unlocked Amazon Fire Phone using Citi Dividend card.
The first time the price dropped, I sent the screenshots, order confirmation email etc, by USPS; I was credited about $30.
When it dropped again, they automatically applied a credit of $14.99 after notifying me. I did not have to do anything. It was a pleasant surprise.

I’ve used it once on some Nest thermostats. One catch is that they would only issue a refund for one item (I had purchased three). So buying them in separate transactions would have been better for price matching.
Great tip!

I bought a doorbell and the price went down 10 dollars. Super easy process.
I got notified that there was a $30 drop on a dishwasher. I uploaded receipts and thought I was done. Then I got a letter in the mail asking me to verify or something and print out the same receipt and mail it to servicing center. So far no notification.
Not sure it’s all that.
