I am excited to announce that I will be bringing on an intern as soon as possible to work approximately ten hours per week writing for this site. I invite all those interested to apply via email.
The internship will be unpaid and will consist of researching and writing five posts per week that will form a new feature on this blog–sorry, I can’t give more information yet. I estimate this time commitment at ten hours per week, but it could be less.
I am looking for a good writer with solid grammar and a facility for explanation. Expert-level knowledge of every imaginable facet of frequent-flyer-dom is less important.
Interested applicants should send me an email and include:
- A writing sample on any topic from any source (eg blog post, forum post, term paper, angry letter)
- Name, age, location
- Skype handle (preferred) or telephone number
- FlyerTalk screen name, milepoint screen name, blog address if you have them
- Any other information you wish to include
There is no set deadline, but I encourage those interested to submit immediately. I hope to begin the new feature that this internship will handle as soon as possible.
I’m looking for a good writer who is reliable, passionate about travel, and interested in helping MileValue grow. If you think you meet those criteria, please apply even if you don’t have much experience.
While there will be no pay for the internship, you will gain valuable experience in all aspects of running a rapidly growing website. The intern may also be considered for a paid job down the line, though there is no time table for that right now.
Any questions about this post and applications for this post should be directed to [this domain]@gmail.com
