It stinks, but I can’t get a Barclay approval to save my life. My husband and I both have one US Air card, and we have each tried to get the Arrival and a 2nd US Air without success. But for some reason US Bank loves me! I have 3 cards with them.
Barclaycard has tightened up. If you already have a Barclaycard, they want to see spending on it before they give you a second.
It says it has a $79 annual fee, but your post didn’t mention this fee – is there a different link?
There is a $79 annual fee. It is NOT waived the first year (unless you have top tier Lufthansa status).
I got approved for the Platinum Mastercard this year. Do you think it is churnable for another 50k if I get approved for the Premier World?
Thanks!
I do not know. If you attempt, let us know the results.
We typically recommend to wait 91 days between applications. Seeing that this card will expire soon, and my last applications were 64 days ago, would you recommend trying to get this card while its here or just wait for the 91 days?
Hi Scott, do you think the Lufthansa miles are better to redeem business class ticket to OGG instead of using Avios miles? I would be redeeming from the west coast. Thanks!
35k Lufthansa miles or 37.5k Avios, so I would choose Lufthansa miles.
The offer is dead, Scott.
It was very generous of you to put it as a “sticky post” so that the maximum number of people could take advantage of it.
