Through March 15, 2017 (this Wednesday) at 11:59 PM ET, you can book roundtrips to Europe in Delta One for travel August through October for only 110,000 Delta miles. The standard price is 140,000 miles roundtrip.
This isn’t a particularly earth shattering award price to Europe in a flat bed. You can fly United or American’s Business Class for almost the same price any time you can find award space (price is 57,500 United miles or 57,500 American miles respectively). But if you have a large stash of Delta miles or Membership Rewards, this sale could be exactly what you were waiting for.
The Discount
While Delta doesn’t publish award charts anymore, we know from prior charts compiled online (most recently Travel is Free created a thorough one) that award prices between Europe and the United States:
- 30k one way in economy
- 70k one way in Business
110k miles roundtrip to Europe in Delta One is about a 21% discount off of the usual 140k price. That’s a big discount. Most of my searches yielded plenty of 110k and up Delta One awards.
Potential Destinations
- Great Britain
- Ireland
- France
- Belgium
- Netherlands
- Germany
Unfortunately Delta doesn’t list all the destinations the sale applies to, it only suggests the destinations above. You’ll have to do some testing yourself if you’re interested in a different European destination.

I searched a few routes to show what availability in Delta One looks like for week(ish) long roundtrips. I checked flexible travel days so you can see more roundtrip options. Here’s…
Atlanta <> Brussels
New York City <> Dublin
Minneapolis <> Amsterdam
Economy awards are on sale as well…
Normally a roundtrip to Europe in Delta economy costs 60k miles. During this flash sale a roundtrip only costs 50k.
I’m not emphasizing the economy awards because it’s easy to find super cheap roundtrips to Europe in economy these days (think $400 range, which is not worth redeeming miles for instead–even if they are SkyPesos).

Bottom Line
For today through Wednesday only (through 11:59 PM ET March 15) you can book Delta awards to Europe with up to a 21% discount. Your travel dates must be between August 1 and October 31, 2017. If you’ve been waiting to dump your Delta miles, this is a good opportunity to book a flat bed to Europe.
