With this summer’s paid ticket prices, this is an incredible deal on many routes. If I weren’t under a self-imposed ban on booking more trips, I would jump on a few domestic routes.
Don’t forget: you can cancel a Southwest ticket and get a credit in the amount that you paid for the ticket toward future Southwest flights. That’s more generous than the legacy carriers, and it means that you can book somewhat speculatively now if you know you’ll need to take some Southwest flight in the coming year.
