Update: Deal is dead. United doesn’t plan to honor the mistake fares. But that seems to violate DOT rules, and I know that some people will make DOT complaints. (I wouldn’t. I missed out on the deal, so I can’t anyway.) We’ll see how it all shakes out.
Right now there are ~$100 First Class tickets from London to the United States. Hurry and book now. These deals will be gone in minutes.
Go to united.com and select Denmark as your country in the top right.
Perform a search for First Class roundtrips from London to the United States. Newark, Honolulu, and Houston work. Many others probably do too.
I did a multiple destinations search to force the outbound through Frankfurt to fly Lufthansa First Class.
The trip priced at 744 DKK, $113.
Book now. Worry about everything else later. You have free cancellation for 24 hours.

I got a reservation, but I had to put Denmark as the billing country (all other info was correct though). It probably won’t go through, but I tried really hard. lol

It’s 10:15AM EST and the prices must have gotten adjusted. The lowest ones start from around $8K USD.

I got one order through, before they adjusted it. Still hasn’t ticketed though.

Looks like UA might have fixed the bug… it is only pricing out in dollars now. 9:09 am central time. Dang. And I was on line when it was pricing on non dollars. Snooze you lose. In fact Denmark isn’t even showing up as a country to select.

Yay! got one way ticket from LHR to US .. 2 adults and 2 kids at ~$180. Now to book one way to LHR for our summer vacation. Not getting my hopes high in case of any cancellation. How long before United makes up its mind to honor or cancel the tickets?

Interesting, that the ticket I bought was 906 DKK, but my credit card statement shows 906 USD pending. Still cheaper than the correct price, but not quite as nice.
@AA – are you still going at that price?
@Patrick – Not sure. I could have talked my wife into an unplanned Europe visit for $140, but $906 may be harder for her to swallow. Especially since I frantically picked two random dates and we still need to pick up the other two legs ourselves with miles or money.
Son of a gun… checked my email too late this morning! Nice for those people who managed to swing tickets 🙂
I just got on my first break at work, checked my email. Arghhhh. What a wonderful honeymoon that would have been!!! Missed it. Denmark ain’t even showing up anymore. I need to forward these emails to my phone.
Damn, no Denmark any more! Lucky you 🙂
