Six shopping portals are offering large bonuses for Apple purchases, but the deal only lasts through today, June 15. If you were already considering buying something from Apple, check out your options to earn extra rewards below.
- American eShopping: 5 miles/$
- Alaska Mileage Plan Shopping: 5 miles/$
- Delta SkyMiles Shopping: 5 miles/$
- United MileagePlus Shopping: 5 miles/$
- Upromise Shopping: 7% cash back
- Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping: 3 points/$
7% cash back sounds pretty appealing when most of us still aren’t traveling, but if you’re stockpiling miles for a trip in the future 5x could be particularly lucrative when thinking in terms of a laptop or other big ticket item.

Don’t Sleep on Shopping Portals
Shopping portals are a simple way to earn extra rewards. Whenever I make a large online purchase, I first check evreward.com–a shopping portal aggregator–to see if my chosen retailer is offering any bonuses. I input the retailer in Evreward’s search bar to get a list of all frequent flyer, hotel point, and cash back programs offering bonuses. For example, here’s what comes up for airline miles and hotel point options when I search “Apple” right now:
All that’s required to earn the bonus miles/points/cash back is that you make the purchase through that retailer’s specific portal, which Evreward links to. Easy peasy.
Shopping portals are also an easy (and cost free, as long as you were already planning on making the purchase) way to generate activity in a loyalty account with miles on the verge of expiration. Any incoming or outgoing activity in a loyalty account resets those rewards’ lifespan.
To be clear, all rewards earned through shopping portals will be in addition to whatever rewards earned from the credit card you make the purchase with.
Bottom Line
Remember to complete the Apple purchase through your chosen shopping portal before the end of the day, June 15, as all offers above will be expired as of tomorrow, June 16.
