Yesterday I took a BlaBlaCar from Valencia to Madrid. It was by the far the cheapest option to travel between the two cities, and for me was a pleasant experience that I plan on repeating between other cities within reasonable driving distance.
What the heck is BlaBlaCar?
BlaBlaCar is ridesharing community--the biggest of its kind in the world. You can access the platform through their app or website, where drivers publish trips they plan on taking and riders can request to join for a cost. Typically only long distance drives are available.

We've got good news for you to begin your Friday with today! American Express Membership Rewards now transfer to British Airways and Iberia Avios at an improved rate of 250:250.

Previously, the transfer rate was 250 Memberships to 200 Avios (1:0.8). Personally I'm quite excited about the change in ratio. I love distance-based Avios for booking short hops that otherwise wouldn't make sense to redeem miles for, but also for sweetspots like Iberia Business Class between Brazil and Spain that I flew at the end of May for just 42,500 points.

We've been wondering when the shoe would drop with the limited time 60k sign up offers for Citi's AAdvantage co-branded credit cards.

Since April, both the Citi / AAdvantage Platinum Select MasterCard and the CitiBusiness / AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard have had 60,000 mile sign up bonuses for spending $3,000 on each within three months of opening them. The marketing for the cards reads limited time, but no end date was actually published.

Ryanair is offering dirt cheap one way fares starting at just £9 / €9 (under $13 USD) between various European cities. The majority of available travel dates are in October and November of this year.

Last week I took an overnight ferry from Bari, Italy to Dubrovnik, Croatia. I'm pretty sure Jadrolinija is the only ferry line that connects passengers between the two regions.
