33% Off All Aeroflot Flights Because of Currency Glitch
December 28, 2015
The Azerbaijani Manat (yeah, I've never heard of it either) lost one third of its value last week.
For whatever reason, Aeroflot is still pricing fares at the old value. If you have a no-foreign-transaction-fee credit card, that means you can save 33% on all Aeroflot tickets.
For instance, a roundtrip from New York to Paris from July 1st to 10th costs $1,025.
The same flights are 1,071 AZN, which is only $684 at current exchange rates.
To get this deal, go to Aeroflot's Russian site and search for flights in euros or dollars.
Trip Report: United BusinessFirst on a 747 from Honolulu to Tokyo
December 27, 2015
United 903
Honolulu (HNL) – Tokyo (NRT)

Arrive: 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 27, 2015
Duration: 9:10
Aircraft: Boeing 747-400
Seat: 13J BusinessFirst (United confusingly calls Business Class "BusinessFirst." The real First Class is called "Global First.")
Because I was flying international Business Class, I had free access to the United Club, which is right above Gate 8, the gate we were using, at Honolulu International Airport.
I left the United Club at about 11:15 AM, ten minutes after boarding started.

Book Singapore Suites Class 355 Days Out for Award Space for Two
December 23, 2015
Singapore Suites is inarguably one of the top five First Classes in the world. Some people even consider Suites Class to be the nicest First Class in the world because of the available double bed that two people can share (or one person can get to himself if the flight isn’t totally full.)
Here is my experience flying Singapore First Class on a 777-300ER. Suites Class is a fancier product available on Singapore's A380s.
Singapore Suites Class is easy for an American to book from the United States to Europe or Asia.

American Airlines, United, and Delta all release several co-branded credit cards with various benefits, bonuses, and fees.
I have attempted to summarize the following cards on one table for easy comparison:

$99 WOW Air Flights Return, $248 Roundtrip to Europe
December 17, 2015
WOW Air is offering $99 one way flights to Iceland and $149 fares to three other European cities. These are not mistake fares. These are advertised fares from Boston and Baltimore (which is misleadingly marketed as Washington, DC by WOW Air.)
WOW Air is an Icelandic low cost carrier. It offers flights from Baltimore and Boston (and soon San Francisco and Los Angeles) to Reykjavik with connections to Europe. These are the discounted ones:
The best way to buy these fares, which are as low as $248 roundtrip, is with Arrival miles.
