Avianca LifeMiles is offering a bonus of up to 125% on purchased miles through December 18, 2015. You can buy up to 150,000 LifeMiles during the sale and get up to 187,500 bonus miles.

LifeMiles cost 3.3 cents each, so with a 125% bonus, you get the miles for 1.47 cents each.

The LifeMiles Visa Signature Card from US Bank now offers 35,000 bonus Avianca LifeMiles after $2,500 in purchases within the first 90 days of account opening.

Avianca LifeMiles and InsideFlyer are offering a 150% bonus on purchased miles through October 12, 2015. You must buy 100,000 to 150,000 LifeMiles (pre-bonus) during the sale at a minimum cost of $3,300.

LifeMiles cost 3.3 cents each, so with a 150% bonus, you get the miles for 1.32 cents each. For instance, if you purchase 100,000 LifeMiles with a 150,000 mile bonus for 250,000 total miles, it would cost $3,300 or 1.32 cents each. That’s the cheapest I’ve seen LifeMiles sold.

Through October 15, 2015, Avianca LifeMiles has discounted certain awards including intra-United States, United States to Europe, and United States to Brazil.

Combined with the sale on LifeMiles through October 8, there are some great opportunities to purchase discounted Business Class flights.

You can consistently buy one way Business Class tickets between the United States and Europe for around $1,000, even at the last minute.

You can use Avianca LifeMiles to book domestic First Class or Business Class on United for about $400 one way, including United's fully flat beds on its routes from Los Angeles and San Francisco to New York. (Currently these flights go to JFK.

Update: I transferred 26,000 LifeMiles to my friend for $390. He received 52,000 after the 100% bonus. I did this because he likes to book one way Business Class tickets between the United States and Europe for about $1,000 by using LifeMiles and 52,000 miles gives him the base to do that twice.
