May 14, 2015
Updated 5/14/15 with current prices and routing rules. Screen shots show old prices.
Delta SkyMiles get a bad rap--very deservedly so--for the lack of Saver (Level 1) award availability that Delta releases, the fuel surcharges Delta charges on awards, the inability to add stopovers on awards, and the fact that Delta deleted its chart from the internet.
But it does not follow that Delta miles are worthless.

Cathay Pacific First Class to be Blocked with American Airlines Miles?
May 12, 2015
Cathay Pacific is considering offering more award space to its own club members than to partner airlines like American Airlines.
Cathay Pacific is to set aside more free seats for its seasoned frequent fliers, under the latest proposal to revamp the award-winning airline's loyalty scheme.

May 11, 2015
United is putting a 787-9 Dreamliner on its only route to Argentina, from Houston to Buenos Aires, starting October 25.

The United 787-9 Dreamliner has 48 beds in Business class in a 2-2-2 configuration. I always choose a middle seat, since both have direct aisle access.
