Aeroplan is Air Canada’s spun-off loyalty program. Aeroplan.com is an awesome search engine that displays award availability on almost all Star Alliance flights.

You should know how to use aeroplan.com whether or not you ever plan to redeem Aeroplan miles because you shouldn’t necessarily search the website of the miles you’re using. You should just search the website that is easiest and best at displaying award availability. Any award availability shown at aeroplan.com will be bookable with Aeroplan, United, Singapore, ANA, Lufthansa, and Avianca miles.

Air India will begin flying a Dreamliner from Newark to London on August 15, 2016 as part of a route between Newark and Ahmedabad, India.

American Airlines is offering up to 15,000 bonus miles and 35% off on the purchase of miles through June 1, 2016. You can now buy 165,000 American Airlines miles including bonus for $3,122 or 1.89 cents each.

The discount is fixed, but the bonus miles are tiered, based on how many miles you purchase.

Air New Zealand is now flying a 787 Dreamliner between Auckland and Honolulu.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has reduced fuel surcharges drastically on awards that travel to or from Japan.
