Who Has the Most First Class Award Space to Maui?

There seemed to be enough interest in my original post on this topic, Who Has the Most First Class Award Space to Honolulu?, that I followed up with the next most popular destination in Hawaii: Maui (OGG airport).

Comparison of United, Delta, & American Airlines Latest 2017 Award Charts

Which airline has the best miles and frequent flyer program? United, American, and Delta are the big three legacy carriers that most directly compete with each other in the United States. For that reason, I publish charts that compare their award prices.

United and American Airlines currently have award charts that were devalued in February 2014 and March 2016 respectively. Delta's is in a state of constant devaluation with frequent unannounced price changes that come into effect for flights flown a few months later.

5x on All AAdvantage Aviator Purchases (Targeted Offer)

Yesterday I received the following email from Barclays about a promotion on my Barclaycard AAdvantage Red World Elite Mastercard...

You can earn 10,000 American Airlines miles for meeting a $2,250 spending requirement over the months of May, June, and July. That's kind of like earning 5x on everyday spending (12,250 miles earned total / $2,250 = 5.44)

Granted, it's 5x on American Airlines miles which we value a little lower than typical legacy carrier miles due to lack of SAAver level award space.

Should You Buy American Airlines Miles for 1.8 Cents Each?

American Airlines is offering up to 115,000 bonus miles when you purchase American Airlines miles through April 13, 2017. You can now buy 265,000 American Airlines miles including bonus for $4,786.88 or 1.8 cents each.

Bonus miles are tiered based on how many miles you purchase. The best deal is to buy 150,000.

American Airlines miles cost 2.95 cents each plus a 7.5% excise tax, and every purchase has a $30 processing fee.

Let's run through the best airline transfer options while the Starwood Preferred Guest personal and business credit cards from American Express come with 35,000 bonus Starpoints for spending $5,000 and $8,000 respectively in the first six months of cardmembership.

Anatomy of an Award: Buenos Aires to Miami in LATAM Business

I recently booked an award for my parents that departed from their home--Charleston, South Carolina--to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We used a combination of their United miles and their Ultimate Rewards, transferred to United MileagePlus, to book the award in United Business Class.

I’ve Had My AAdvantage Aviator for Almost Two Years. Now What?

A few years ago I opened the U.S. Airways MasterCard from Barclays. It was one of my first travel credit card applications. Scott had given me the advice to sign up for the U.S. Airways card as well as the Citi AAdvantage cards, as it was 2014 and the companies were on the brink of merging. If I signed up for and met the spending requirement on both, the accounts would merge and I would be flush with American Airlines miles in no time. So I did.

Then my U.S.
