Flights from the West Coast to Hawaii on American or Alaska are 12,500 British Airways Avios

Tomorrow (July 5, 2017), the Delta Gold card 60,000 mile offer and the Delta Platinum 70,000 mile offer end.

Both offers are the highest on record. It’s always important to apply for Amex cards when they have a historically high sign up bonus since you can only get the public sign up bonus on a card once in your lifetime.

Tonight (for me it is almost 11 PM) my goal was to book a flight to get me from Norway to Spain around July 11, because for the rest of the days leading up to the 11th, I'll be camping in rural Norway with little to no internet access.

Cash flights at this point are exorbitantly expensive, but hey, that's what miles are for.

How the Bonus Stacks Up Historically
Very occasionally we've seen a 50% bonus on Alaska miles, but only to a more highly targeted market.

Through tomorrow, June 30 at 23:59 hr BST (British Summer Time) you can buy British Airways Avios with a 50% bonus. I've never seen a onuses greater than 50% on the purchase of Avios before.

The maximum amount of Avios you can buy through this promotion is 100k. With a 50% bonus, that means you can add 150k Avios to your account.

Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines are both offering $397 roundtrip economy flights from San Jose and Oakland, California to Maui (non-stop). The majority of available travel dates span the end of August through mid November.

Etihad currently flies to six cities in the United States from its hub Abu Dhabi:

October 28, 2017 is the last day Etihad will fly between Abu Dhabi and San Francisco. The new route network between Abu Dhabi and the US as of October 29 is pictured above.

This is not great news for those living on the west coast that want to fly Etihad as it decreases the overall amount of award space available.
