Award space is wide open in Turkish Airlines Business Class between the United States and Europe for four people per flight over the heart of the Summer.

This is amazing news because normally award space over the summer is the toughest to find, finding four seats on the same flight in Business Class is almost unheard of, Turkish flies to more countries than any other airline, and you can book the space for as cheap as 40,000 miles one way with no fuel surcharges.

I just spent one night at Le Meridien Chiang Rai, in Thailand for 4,000 Starpoints, and it was incredible. The property sits just 1.5 miles outside of downtown Chiang Rai, overlooking the Kok River.

We arrived at the Chiang Rai airport from Bangkok at about 3:30 PM and took a $2 taxi to the hotel.

There are no First Class seats on the Qantas A380 between Australia and the United States in either direction.

Qantas has lowered the number of miles needed to book Qantas and partner flights with Qantas miles. This is potentially big news since Citi ThankYou Points transfer 1:1 to Qantas miles.

What Are the Changes?
Qantas is not touching Business or First Class award prices, only international economy.

American Airlines is releasing a ton of Business Class award space from Los Angeles and Chicago to Shanghai for most of 2016.

This award space is easy to connect to from anywhere in the United States, and you can connect elsewhere in Asia with American Airlines partners.

Delta is offering awards to London for 22,500 SkyMiles each way this winter. That is a 7,500 miles discount off the normal price.

The details are a little sketchy (just like Delta's lack of an award chart) because those listed on the promo page are incomplete and incorrect:

I just redeemed 5,650 Avios and $84 for a flight from Santiago to Buenos Aires (AEP), the closer airport to the city. Tickets to that airport were running over $400 one way.

Even tickets to the worse airport were $180+, meaning I was very happy to use an Avios & Money award.
