$492 Roundtrip from New York to Singapore

I tweeted this deal first from @MileValueAlerts. Follow @MileValueAlerts on Twitter and follow these directions to get a text message every time I tweet from that account. I tweet from @MileValueAlerts only a few times a month because it is designed to be used only for the best and most limited-time deals–like mistake fares–so that you aren’t bombarded by text messages.

Travel from New York to Singapore for $492 roundtrip throughout much of March and end of September through December. There is one stop in, Guangzhou, in both directions.

Korean.com Now Allows SkyTeam Bookings [HUGE!]

You can now book SkyTeam partner airlines' award seats on koreanair.com; previously you had to call in.

This is huge news because it makes booking 25,000 mile roundtrip awards to Hawaii much easier! This is also the new easiest way to book China Southern and China Eastern First Class.

Korean SkyMiles--a 1 to 1 transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards--is mainly famous for two things:

Ridiculously cheap awards on Delta planes to Hawaii. Korean charges just 25,000 miles roundtrip in economy and 45,000 in First Class including flat beds.

Decreased China Southern Business Award Availability

At our Award Booking Service, clients most often ask us to construct specific itineraries with their miles. Maybe they want to go to both France and Italy for their honeymoon and have United miles. We take it from there. Sometimes, however, we receive requests that are more like pleas:

"I have 250,000 Delta Skymiles, how can I put them to any use??"

I've often argued that Skymiles are strategically useful.
