Our Take

The World of Hyatt Business Credit Card is a good option for business owners frequently staying at Hyatt hotels. With the ability to earn extra bonus points and statement credits, it will appeal to those seeking more rewards for their loyal business to Hyatt.

Many people may find this card to be a bit underwhelming, and for good reason. Chase did a good job of making this a good card for businesses with employees who stay at Hyatt hotels routinely for work.

There aren’t a ton of additional benefits to the card, but those who stay at Hyatt hotels routinely can take advantage of the $50 statement credits and Discoverist status for a few more perks during their stay.

The ability to earn 2X Hyatt points on a number of categories also means that the card will appeal to many business owners.

Most business owners who aren’t loyal to Hyatt will likely be better served with one of the varieties of the Ink business cards. For the same amount of spend you can earn Chase Ultimate Rewards which give you the benefit of flexibility rather than having your points tied to Hyatt. Especially once you consider you’ll still need to be under 5/24 to be eligible for this card.
