Not sure about the mechanics of using [ThankYou] points. Can I transfer these to AA to receive miles that will be added to my AA balance, or are these points used exclusively on their own for a flight on, say, AA?

I got the Citi Prestige® Card this week. (Here's why I got the Citi Prestige.) It makes two of the other cards I have less valuable.

The Citi ThankYou® Premier Card is flipping its category bonuses on April 19 to nearly mirror the category bonuses I'll have with the Citi Prestige® Card.

Citi ThankYou Points now transfer to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles at a 1:1 rate.

That makes one hotel and 12 airline partners for Citi ThankYou Points earned on the Citi ThankYou® Premier Card and Citi Prestige® Card.

5x Points Offer Has Expired

The Citi ThankYou® Premier Card is already one of the three cards I carry. I got it for the massive 40,000 ThankYou Point sign up bonus that I can transfer to airlines like Singapore and AirFrance for tricky awards.

ThankYou Points are a transferable points program offered by Citi on select credit cards. ThankYou Points transfer to nine airlines and Hilton. Normally 1,000 ThankYou Points transfer to 1,500 Hilton points. Until January 8, 2015, 1,000 ThankYou Points transfers to 2,000 Hilton points!

This is exciting to me because there are some high value uses of Hilton points, and also because this is the first Citi ThankYou Points transfer bonus.
