Personal
1 and 1a. Citi American Airlines American Express and Citi American Airlines Visa, each with 50,000 American Airlines miles after $2,500 in spending in the first four months for 100,000 American Airlines miles total
Opening both the Citi American Airlines American Express and Visa cards within minutes of each other by using separate browsers to apply for each will net 100,000 bonus American Airlines miles.
Each offer:
- 50k American Airlines miles after $2,500 in spending in 4 months
- 2 Admirals Club Lounge Passes
- 10% rebate on American Airlines awards up to 10k miles in rebate per year (opening both cards will only earn the 10%/10k once)
- No annual fee the first year
Note: The following links are “zombies.” The stated expiration date of the offer has passed. The application does not list the size of the sign up bonus. Hundreds or thousands of people have successfully used these links to get the offer I’ve outlined, but there is a heightened risk you will not get the offer.

I have earned millions of points, primarily though credit cards, to travel the world in first class for pennies. This blog will show you how to earn and redeem points to do the same!
how do we know if we will get 50,000 miles or 25,000 miles. ? is there a way to confirm?
Any knowledge of these working with the 50k bonus recently?
Ive seen the same card with only 30k bonus on other sites
Yes, just helped a friend apply tonight. The 30k offers are not the best offer.
Are there business versions of these credit cards with same sign up bonus or better?
There is an equivalent 50k business card. I mention it here –> http://milevalue.com/best-offers-and-best-practices/
I will add it to this page too soon.
Just tried to Churn both cards.. and it is not allowed. One card (the card I applied to first) was approved the second denied. It seems AA has caught up on the 100K apporama and no longer allows this. I called every department and no luck. Mr. Mile Value didnt you say you “just” helped someone do this a few days ago?
Yes, hours before the post was published. She has 100k coming her way according to Citi. I also said YMMV. I am hearing a few reports like this in the last 24 hours. I hope this hasn’t been closed. Comments here indicate some people are having trouble today, but one or two people did get approved for both. I am monitoring the situation –> http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milesbuzz/1262549-citi-aa-50k-plus-other-offers-they-appear-read-post-1-follow-links-first-281.html
I just tried to get both cards with the two browser method. The Am Exp version was approved and the Visa version was turned denied. I called three times and talked to three different agents on the reconsideration line and no luck.
I think this deal pretty much closed down one week ago. Huge bummer.
FYI, the 10% rebate on American Airlines awards up to 10k miles in rebate per year looks like it’s based on the time of redemption, not when the flight was flown. I redeem some miles for a trip over NYE where my outbound was in 2012 and my return was in 2013 but it looks like the rebate was posted for when the miles were debited from my account.
